Though Abstracts2View(TM) uses your computer's internet browser; it does not need to be connected to the internet to function.  If your computer has autoconnect set in the default browser, the abstracts2View(TM) program may be blocked from starting properly.  This issue can be resolved by temporarily disabling the autoconnect feature.
