If you are using a version of the Internet Explorer browser 5.1 or greater, you can use the formatting buttons for bold, italics, underline, superscript and subscript. For all other browsers you must type a special code before and after the text you want to format. For example, to add bold formatting to a word or phrase in your poster title or footer text, you would enter the following information:
[bold] word or phrase [/bold]
The special codes are as follows:
- Bold: Insert [bold] before the text and [/bold] after the text.
- Italic: Insert [italic] before the text and [/italic] after the text.
- Underline: Insert [underline] before the text and [/underline] after the text.
- Subscript: Insert [sub] before the text and [/sub] after the text which you want subscripted.
- Superscript: Insert [sup] before the text and [/sup] after the text which you want superscripted.
Most of the files for your poster can be created using your preferred word processing software or graphics program. Your program should be able to accommodate any formatting you need. Special formatting and symbols are retained by the Call4Posters® program after your file has been uploaded.
