| When I leave the authors (or any other) data entry screen and then come back it appears to have lost all of my changes. Is my data lost and if so, how can I get it back? |

Your data is probably not lost if you hit the save key. What is happening is your computer or server is caching pages, or displaying the page as it remembers it when first opened. If you hit the reload/refresh button you will force the computer to go out and get a fresh copy of the page, which should have your changes reflected on it.
