Apply for Accreditation

Accreditation systems are in use in some medical disciplines to ensure the quality of CME activities. Many European countries are already running CME systems for physicians, some of which are mandatory. Specialists often prefer to attend accredited meetings so that they can submit "earned" CME credits to their national accreditation authority.

Please read the Standards & Guidelines (most recent version) and then follow the instructions to complete your application for accreditation.

Peer review of the application will take approximately four weeks

The application will be reviewed by a board of specialists to ensure compliance with the Standards & Guidelines. Accredited CME activity is distinguished from other educational activities for medical audiences because its quality has been confirmed by a board of recognized specialists in hematology.

You will then be told if your event/activity is accepted and it will be allocated a number of credit hours and a maximum amount of CME credits which you may announce to all participants.

The EHA understands the necessity of educational grants provided by commercial sponsors of the development of CME activities. The EHA Standards & Guidelines aim to ensure that the scientific objectivity and balance of CME are maintained in this setting.
